Multitude

I am huge,
A multitude of worlds!

I decide, I know,
I wonder, I learn,
I see others who wonder, too,
And they are plentiful.
I see the sky and the stars,
I see the universe,
And a glimpse of it once again,
In the other people’s eyes.
And I don’t understand,
I cannot decide,
I don’t know.

I am small,
Invisible…

Two Sentence Story: Crow

Eisla always walked with the crow on her shoulder, and they whispered to each other, like old friends.
Soon, people started to call the crow Eisla, and Eisla was nicknamed Crow.

These sentences are actually from a novel I’m writing, and, for some reason I can’t really explain, I like them very, very much, so I thought they might stand on their own.

Let’s Be Evil Together

Let’s be evil together!
Let’s bare our pointed teeth
And sharpen our claws.

In moonlight we would walk
And hide from the Sun
Which shines, pierces and burns
Like it owns us all.

Hunters we would be
And never the pray,
Care not about the world
Just destroy and scare.

Merciful never
To those who obey,
We shall bury constructs
Made by fellow men.

Run away with me!
Let’s be evil together,
Let’s be violent –
Be free.

3 Days 3 Quotes – Day 3

And, the last day of the tag has come… Who to quote but the great Terry Pratchett. I could quote him for days, but this time I had to choose just this one quote…

First of all, here are the rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Post three different quotes in three consecutive days
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day

And thank you Nicole, one more time, for thinkking of me and tagging me. πŸ™‚

Now, here’s the quote of the day, from Terry Pratchett’s novelΒ Small Gods:

Fear is a strange soil. It grows obedience like corn, which grow in straight lines to make weeding easier. But sometimes it grows the potatoes of defiance, which flourish underground.

So, yeah, I definitely recommend Terry Pratchett to everyone. XD And, the last three people I tag are: Shyla, Pen2NeedleΒ and breaktheenigma.Β Have fun with the tag, if you want to, of course. πŸ™‚

Here are the rules for the tag:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Post three different quotes in three consecutive days
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day

And my today’s quote is from Just Kids, a great book by Patti Smith:

I learned from him that often contradiction is the clearest way to truth.

Today I nominate these wonderful bloggers: Lia, ErikaΒ and Emma. You are, of course, under no obligation to do the tag, but if you think it might be fun I’d love to hear the quotes you like. πŸ™‚

3 Days 3 Quotes – Day 1

First of all, thank you so much NicoleΒ for tagging me! This is such a simple but wonderful tag. Nicole’s blog, Sorry, I’m Booked, is really great and you should all check it out. πŸ˜‰

Here are the rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Post three different quotes in three consecutive days
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day

I decided to start with a quote from my favourite book, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. It’s a long one, but it just couldn’t be shortened. XD

These wonderful narrations inspired me with strange feelings. Was man, indeed, at once so powerful, so virtuous and magnificent, yet so vicious and base? He appeared at one time a mere scion of the evil principle, and at another as all that can be conceived of noble and godlike. To be a great and virtuous man appeared the highest honour that can befall a sensitive being; to be base and vicious, as many on record have been, appeared the lowest degradation, a condition more abject than that of the blind mole or harmless worm. For a long time I could not conceive how one man could go forth to murder his fellow, or even why there were laws and governments; but when I heard details of vice and bloodshed, my wonder ceased, and I turned away with disgust and loathing.

The bloggers I nominate today are: Ellie Maloney,Β JeanyjanezΒ and Ren. Of course, no pressure, you don’t have to do the tag. πŸ™‚

Happy blogging!
